I just read my third issue of a recently published JAOA—Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (J Am Osteopath Assoc August 2004;104), having missed reading it for many years, despite reviewing an occasional surgical article on The Journal's behalf. I want to compliment your staff on the vastly improved quality of the articles, the excellent credentials of American Osteopathic Association Editorial Advisory Board members, and the brevity of current issues, having greatly reduced advertising. Your diligent efforts have brought increased credibility to the The Journal.
Your staff should be proud of this accomplishment, as I imagine it was a daunting task. I thank you, and I hope the profession realizes and appreciates your efforts. ♦
